Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Are DS System vacuum lifters CE certified? (EN 13155)
Yes. All DS System machines are fully compliant with the European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and the EN 13155 standard for non-fixed load lifting attachments. Our DS 550, DS 600, DS 850 and the full vacuum lifter range are equipped with a dual-circuit vacuum system with dual tanks (or safety straps must be used on the single-circuit version) as well as audible and visual alarms, ensuring maximum safety on the construction site.
What warranty do vacuum lifters come with, and how quickly can I get spare parts?
We provide a standard 12-month warranty (extendable to 24 months). As a manufacturer based in Poland, we maintain a full stock of spare parts ready for immediate shipping (24h). We also offer mobile service and remote technical support for international clients. Common replacement parts — including suction cups (pads), vacuum pumps, pressure valves, and hose assemblies — are available directly from our spare parts store.
Can you build a custom lifter for a specific load?
Absolutely. Over 30% of our production is custom engineering. Whether you need to lift oversized curtain wall glass, perforated sheet metal, porous stone slabs, or extra-long sandwich panels beyond 20 m, our in-house R&D team can design a bespoke vacuum lifter tailored to your exact workflow and crane interface.
How quickly can I receive a vacuum lifter or crane — what is the delivery time?
Our bestsellers (like the DS 550 or DS 850) are often kept in stock or have a very short assembly time (1-2 weeks). For complex custom projects or large cranes, the lead time is typically 4-6 weeks. We ship to all EU countries, the UK, Norway, Switzerland, and internationally via freight forwarders.
What is the difference between a single-circuit and dual-circuit vacuum lifter?
A dual-circuit vacuum lifter features two independent vacuum systems for safety redundancy, required by EN 13155 for lifting loads on construction sites without secondary mechanical straps. If one circuit loses pressure, the second holds the load. A single-circuit system requires safety straps for construction use but is standard for factory indoor lifting (e.g., CNC loading).
Can I use a vacuum lifter with a forklift or telehandler?
Yes. We design dedicated forklift vacuum attachments (like our WS 500 series) that slide directly onto standard forklift tines or telehandlers. This turns your existing machinery into a mobile vacuum manipulator for warehouse logistics or site installation.
Do your vacuum lifters work outdoors and in wet or cold conditions?
Yes. Our construction series lifters feature weather-resistant enclosures, IP-rated electrical components, and heavy-duty sealed batteries designed to perform reliably in outdoor environments, including cold weather and light rain.
